HSBC is rough to get a savings account with. Their verification process is a little ridiculous. Paypal is kinda rough, too.
I may try for a consolidation + truck + gear loan with Citi Financial.
I have a few short term goals now that I want to take care of as quickly as possible:
I have elected this to be my next serious lens purchase $ 1,199.95. These guys used this lens for a long time, and the effects are evident. It's an amazing piece of glass elements.
Battery Grip and second battery would be next; I want to add as much weight to my camera set up as possible to help steady my hand and give me something to hold onto to get cleaner shots.
These days I'm all about the cleanest shot possible. I can always dirty something in Photoshop and create different effects as someone would in a dark room, but my new goal is to get everything right in camera that I can.
Welcome To Oz, Vincent Versace's book, has change my shooting behaviors and, in turn, my life.
UPDATE ON THE HOUSE:
Man, this thing is coming right along. The walls are fixed, the ceiling is almost done, and on Wednesday Stitch and I will convene and begin the final looks paint phase.
I bought a floor lamp today at Walmart; a $23.00 job that looks decent but is kind of flimsy. It really helps out the room a lot. Now I just need to get an end table and another lamp to fill out the room, and the lighting will be somewhat taken care of. I may do a back-light job behind the couch for ambiance at times, too, when people are over. I'll need t get a good color gel filter for the fluorescent tube I have, though, to make it warm and natural looking.
